Preface
Robert Frost was a significant poet of the 20th century who wrote such famous poems as “The Road Not Taken”, and “Stopping By the Woods on a Snowy evening”. Frost was a poet who incorporated nature into many of his poems. This theme of nature seen throughout his work helped to define him as a poet. This theme is shown in works such as “Come In”, and “Storm Fear” in which Frost uses many descriptions of the natural environment to help buffer the poem.
Frost also has a style that incorporates many descriptions and various forms of rhyming patterns. Frost’s style is interesting in the fact that it appeals to many people, but especially people who enjoy nature. This is because of Frost’s use of extremely descriptive detail accompanied with his comparisons of everyday things with nature. This accounts for the reason that his demographic being the way it is.
Frosts unique style has contributed to the success of his work. His incorporation of nature into his work is one of the characteristics of his work that helps to distinguish him from other poets.
